Welcome to Walden Local's New CEO - Nancy Pak!

We are very excited to announce Walden Local's new CEO: Nancy Pak! Nancy has been a longtime leader of some iconic New England brands including Tate's Bake Shop and Tom's of Maine. Under her leadership, both brands grew their scale and impact dramatically, and Nancy led the effort to obtain B Corp status at Tom's, a company that has always been on the leading edge of the environmental movement. After reviewing over 100 candidates - many from our own membership base - we are confident that Nancy will be a driving force in bringing Walden Local into the future and will help us introduce our sustainably raised meat and agricultural mission to more families and homes!

In a letter to the entire Walden Local team last month, Nancy wrote "When I first learned about Walden Local's mission, culture, values and commitment to this passionate team, as well as Walden Local's members, partner farmers, broader community and sustainable business practices, I became excited about the possibility of joining Walden and being part of its future. My visit last month to Walden Local's office and warehouse made a lasting impression - my family could see my enthusiasm and energy as I returned home from my visit; we just knew that this would be a very fulfilling journey. They could see that Walden Local's mission and values speak to me personally."

This is her first week, and we can't wait to begin planning the future of Walden Local with Nancy at the helm!
